Meet Dr. Richard G. Levine, B.Sc., M.D., F.A.A.D. of CU Dermatology – Boulder Richard G. Levine received his undergraduate degree and medical degree from the University of Western Ontario, Canada; went on to McGill University in Quebec, Canada to complete his dermatology residency; and after his training in 1998, made his way to Colorado where he opened CU Dermatology - Boulder. He is a board certified dermatologist and a cosmetic surgeon. Dr. Levine is also a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (F.A.A.D.), a fellow of The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and also a fellow of the American Society of Mohs Surgery. His affiliations include the Cell Surgical Network (CSN) and the American College of Phlebology. He is trained in clinical medicine, tissue pathology, and surgery pertaining to the skin. He remains updated with procedures and medical literature by attending conferences, workshops, and seminars of the procedures he performs, such as cutaneous laser surgery, Mohs surgery, photofacials, facial rejuvenation, tumescent liposculpture, blepharoplasty, and many more. Dr. Levine was the first physician in Boulder County to begin photofacials and also one of the first physicians in Colorado to introduce and offer threadlifting techniques and Clearlight acne therapy. Kimberly Bacharach, PA-C, joined CU Dermatology Boulder in November of 2016. She is nationally certified, a member of The American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and part of the Colorado Academy of PA’s (CAPA). She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at University of Minnesota Duluth, and her graduate degree at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL, where she graduated with highest honors. Kimberly grew up in Minnesota, but she relocated to Colorado in October 2015. She is trained in medical dermatology as well as cosmetics, including botox and filler.
